Melody’s Echo Chamber - Je Me Perds De Vue (b-side)
Track number 9, ‘Is That What You Said’ on Melody’s Echo Chamber wonderful debut album is weird and backwardsy. If you were to magically flip it around and add vocals you would end up with ‘Je Me Perds Du Vue’ the b-side to upcoming single ‘Crystallized’. Such audio jiggery-pokery would defintely be worth the effort for this fine slice of pyscho-gallic-indie pop.

It kinda annoys me when pretty girls like you post things like you aren't happy with how you look. if you aren't happy what hope do us ugly people have?!I know there’s a difference between the way people perceive me and the way I perceive myself; I have people constantly reassuring me that I am pretty and I believe they’re being sincere but it doesn’t really change how I feel about the way I look. It’s easy enough to look in the mirror and say to yourself “I look fine today” but then you really look at yourself and suddenly this voice says DON’T LEAVE THE HOUSE, YOU LOOK LIKE A FOOL, CHANGE YOUR OUTFIT, WHY CAN’T I HAVE NICE SKIN/HAIR/BODY/EVERYTHING LIKE ALL THE OTHER GIRLS I KNOW blah blah blah…..
You’re probably just like me, man. And it doesn’t really matter how you look, right? The trick is to be able to look at yourself and be comfortable which I wish more than anything I could do!
